Introducing...

Anthony Robinson is a writing instructor for the Student Support Services program. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. from the University of Oregon, and is currently completing his PhD dissertation. A non-traditional student himself, Anthony came to UO after spending four years in the U.S. Navy and working as a machine operator at a furniture manufacturing plant, a bookstore clerk, and a freelance writer. His research interests are in American poetry and the rhetoric of violence. Before joining Academic Learning Services, he taught writing and literature courses.

In his spare time, Anthony enjoys reading magazines, listening to music (old school punk rock, Americana, hip-hop), and cooking, particularly Southeast Asian and Mexican food.
