Introducing...

Doug Hintz works with the Student Support Services program and provides math assistance through Math 253. He also teaches a two-term version of Math 111 and provides support for basic statistic courses: Math 243, Soc 312, and Psych 302. He earned a B.S. in mathematics and a teaching certificate from the University of Oregon in 1988. He immediately started a graduate program in interdisciplinary studies (mathematics and education) and finished in 1991 with his master's degree. He has taught mathematics since 1988, working extensively as a substitute teacher in the local high schools and teaching part time at Lane Community College since 1989.
