Standardized Test Preparation
The University Teaching and Learning Center offers workshops for the following standardized tests:
- GRE (required
for many academic graduate programs)
- GMAT (for
business school)
- MCAT (for
medical school)
- LSAT (for
law school)
- SAT
(required for college admissions)
- PSAT
(used to award national merit scholarships).
These workshops provide a high-quality, cost-effective alternative
to expensive, commercial test-preparation programs. Test experts teach the workshops and assist participants with content review as well as effective test-taking techniques.
To schedule your standardized test, contact the University of Oregon Testing Office. Students may be able to receive financial assistance for a workshop as active members of the Student Support Services (SSS) program, McNair Scholars program, or the Office of Multicultural Academic Success (OMAS). Contact these offices directly for more information.
Students who are not currently active within the SSS or McNair programs would not be eligible for immediate funding.
