Serena Charley, McNair Scholar

Shari Huhndorf earned her Ph.D. from New York University and joined the faculty at the University of Oregon in 1996. Associate Professor of English and Director of the Ethnic Studies Program, she is the author of Going Native: Indians in the American Cultural Imagination (Cornell UP, 2001) and numerous articles. She is currently completing an anthology (co-edited with Patricia Hilden and Timothy Reiss) titled Cartographies of Race and Gender and working on a history of Native American drama. She teaches courses on Native American literature and film as well as comparative ethnic studies.
