Dr. Lynn Fujiwara, Assistant Professor of Women's and Gender Studies,
received her Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California,
Santa Cruz, in 1999 and joined the faculty at the UO in 2000. Her
interests focus on feminist theory with an emphasis in Third World
and critical race feminisms, women of color, immigration, citizenship,
welfare, labor, and family. Recent publications include "Immigrant
Rights Are Human Rights: The Reframing of Immigrant Entitlement
and Welfare," Social Problems (2005).
