Keyur Adhvaryu obtained his Ph.D. in biochemistry from the Indian
Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, in 2002. Currently, he is
a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Eric Selker’s lab at
the Institute of Molecular Biology where research focuses on Neurospora
crassa as a model system to study DNA methylation and heterochromatin
formation. Publications include “Research Communications:
Heterogeneity in NTS of rDNA in Localized Populations of Neurospora”
(with R. Maheshwari), Current Science (2002) and “Methylation
of Histone H3 Lysine 36 Is Required for Normal Development in Neurospora
crassa” (with S. Morris, B. Strahl, and E. Selker) Eukaryotic
Cell (2005).
